Serenity Terms of Use
Serenity is made by Lukas, an independent developer. Your use of Serenity is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard App Store EULA), together with the points below. If they ever conflict, Apple's EULA wins.
Purchases
- All purchases are made through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Please note
Serenity is a self-care and journaling tool. It is not therapy, not a medical device, and not a substitute for professional help. It does not diagnose or treat any condition.
If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line straight away. You can find one for your country at findahelpline.com.
Your data
Your data is stored on your device (and in your own iCloud where the app offers it), as described in the Serenity Privacy Policy. I can't recover it for you if it's lost, so keep your device backed up and use the app's export options for anything you can't lose.
No warranty
Serenity is provided "as is". I work hard to make it reliable, but I can't promise it will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
I may update these terms as the app changes. The current version is always on this page.
