Terms

Reelly terms of use

Reelly is made by Lukas, an independent developer. Your use of Reelly is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard App Store EULA), together with the points below. If they ever conflict, Apple's EULA wins.

Purchases

  • All purchases are made through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone's Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Please note

Scripts are written either on your device by Apple Intelligence or, if you choose, by a third-party AI model (Anthropic or OpenAI) using an API key you provide. For those, you're responsible for your key, for any charges your provider bills you, and for following that provider's terms. AI output can be inaccurate, so read your script before you publish it.

You own the videos you record and are responsible for what you publish and where.

Your data

Your data is stored on your device and in your own iCloud, as described in the Reelly privacy policy. I can't recover it for you if it's lost, so keep your device backed up.

No warranty

Reelly is provided "as is". I work hard to make it reliable, but I can't promise it will be error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Changes

I may update these terms as the app changes. The current version is always on this page.
